She fashioned a lover, the serpent Ophion, from the wind;
she mated with him and gave birth to the Universal Egg, which gave birth to
land, plants, and animals.
Eurynome knocked out Ophion's teeth and threw him out of
heaven when he started to brag that he was the creator of all things.
