Goddess Tlazolteotl

 



Tlazolteotl: Aztec filth goddess

Pestilence, sin, and sickness, especially STDs, are all controlled by Tlazolteotl.

She also has jurisdiction over sexual offenses such as adultery and rape.

She is the Dark Maiden, who both inspires and cleanses sin.

Tlazolteotl's priests purified those who confessed their wrongdoings in a rebirthing ritual; those who lied were sentenced to death.

Tozi and Teteoinnan form a triad with her.

Goddess Proserpina

 



Proserpina: Proserpina is the Roman goddess of spring.

Proserpina, the Roman version of Persephone, is the goddess of seasonal spring and virginity.

She is the goddess of development and agriculture, as well as the depiction of the soil in full blossom.

She is Pluto's wife and the guardian of spirits, and she dominates the underworld with him as the Dark Maiden.

Persephone: Persephone is the Greek goddess of spring.

Persephone is the spring girl, a goddess of development and gladness, and the daughter of Demeter.

She is the goddess of agriculture and symbolizes youth's innocence and purity.

Persephone is the ruler of the underworld and the guardian of souls in her function as the Dark Maiden.

She embodies the knowledge of life and death, and is adept in all sorts of witchcraft and divination.
