Vesna: Russian spring goddess 

Vesna is a goddess of prophecy who is thought to reside at the summit of a mountain.

She is the embodiment of spring and is in charge of plant and agricultural survival.

She is honored with song and dance at the end of February to welcome the arrival of spring.

Goddess Uzume

 



Uzume: The goddess of laughter in Japan.

Uzume, the goddess of happiness and femininity, is a full-figured goddess.

She is the personification of energy in motion, and she is the source of light and hope.

When Amaterasu hides herself in a cave, it is Uzume who tempts her out with a lewd, comical dance.

She considers bells and dancing to be holy.

Goddess Sarasvati

 



Sarasvati is a Hindu goddess of language.

Sarasvati is the Goddess of the Arts, who created music, dance, and poetry.

She created science and mathematics, founded the Sanskrit language, and is in charge of all elements of education and learning.

Sarasvati, also known as "The Flowing One," inspires devotees to achieve great heights in intellectual and creative pursuits.

She is often represented as a white-skinned lady with a peacock.

Goddess Mujaji

 



Mujaji is a rain goddess from South Africa.

Mujaji is the goddess of rain, purification, and drought.

In preparation for ceremony, she washes worshipers, and the people dance as a sacrifice to her.
