Goddess Erinyes Or Erinys Or Furies

In ancient Greek religion and mythology, Erinys, sometimes known as the Furies, were female chthonic goddesses of retribution.

In the Iliad, they are referred to as "the Erinyes, who beneath earth seek retribution on persons who have vowed a false oath."

Hag goddesses are Greek deities. The Erinyes predate the Olympian gods by thousands of years.

They are a trio of Dark Crone goddesses that punish the wicked both on and off the surface of the planet.

They are especially vicious towards murderers and blasphemers, and their victims often go insane as a result of their attacks.

Only the oppressed seeking atonement may soothe their rage.

Tisiphone the Avenger, Alecto the Unresting, and Megaera the Jealous are the Erinyes.

The Furies in Greek mythology are the Greek equivalents of the Roman Furies.
