Oenothea is a Greek wine goddess.

Oenothea is a goddess of the hearth and home who oversees the production and consumption of wine.

She is the hostess or innkeeper who welcomes the tired and hungry into her house and shares her bounty with everyone.

Goddess Kamui Fuchi

 




Kamui Fuchi is the Japanese deity of the hearth.

Kamui Fuchi is the Ainu people of Japan's ancestress and tribe mother.

As the fire of the hearth, she protects the portal between the natural and spiritual worlds, insisting that it never be totally extinguished.

When her petitioners feed her rice, mugwort, and beer, she defends them from bad spirits as the "Lady of the Home." 

Goddess Haltia Or Haltija

 



Haltia, sometimes known as Haltija, is a Finnish goddess of the hearth and the household.

Haltia bestows good fortune and health to people who welcome her into their houses; she stays in the homes of her worshippers under a roof beam.

When a Baltic Finn family moved, they brought the beam with them to guarantee Haltia's blessings would continue.
