The residents of Indonesia's Celebes Islands revere Sangiyan Sari as an earth goddess.

She bestowed lush land and rice harvests to mankind, preventing hunger and famine.

Renenet is the Egyptian deity of harvest and food.

Renenet is regarded as the Lady of the Double Granary, a moniker that honors her responsibilities as harvest guardian and grandmother of wealth.

Renenet, also known as She Who Rears, protects babies and children by giving them a secret name that gives them power and protects them from danger.

Po Ino Nogar: Cambodia's rice goddess.

Po Ino Nogar regulates rainfall and protects crops from illness and drought.

She bestowed to mankind rice and rich soil, as well as the ability to farm the land.

Water and clouds are her icons.

Goddess Onatha

 


Iroquois goddess of the harvest, Onatha.

Onatha is revered by certain Native Americans as the virgin goddess of wheat and harvest.

Evil spirits kidnapped her and took her to the underworld.

To save her, the sun created a heat wave that dried out the dirt, allowing Onatha to emerge from the ground and blossom into freedom.
