Goddess Inanna
Inanna is the Sumerian goddess of love and battle.
Inanna was revered throughout Mesopotamia as the Queen of Heaven and Earth, and was known to the Babylonians as Ishtar.
She is the morning and evening stars, and she is a lunar
deity.
Her seductive and sensuous abilities made her a symbol of
fertility and mating rites.
Inanna, Ereshkigal's sister, enhances the light side of the
soul by teaching knowledge and life and death magick.
She safeguarded her city and people as a battle goddess,
delivering justice and enforcing the rules of the realm.
The lion and the eight-pointed star are her emblems.
