Kuan Yin, also known as Quan Yin, is a Chinese goddess of compassion.
Kuan Yin is the mother of compassion and is revered all around the globe.
She welcomes and answers to all petitions, and her name means "She Who Hears the Weeping World."
Kuan Yin looks after the
spirits of the dead and helps sinners get out of purgatory.
Kuan Yin, the patroness of healers, heals illnesses of the
mind, body, and spirit.
Though she is sometimes shown as a male god, Kuan Yin is
normally depicted as a beautiful lady holding a jug of healing water; she is
also frequently depicted as a figure with many limbs and eleven heads.
