Maia is the goddess of spring in Greek mythology.
Maia is the mother of Hermes and the oldest of the Pleiades.
She is a lonely goddess who dwells alone in a cave and is
related with birthing and spring witchcraft.
She promotes the development of plants and flowers, as well
as the fertility of the ground.
