Matsu (also Tian Hou, Mazu, Tien Hou) is a Chinese sea goddess.
Matsu is revered by Eastern Asians and Taoists as the ocean and the protector of fishermen and sailors.
She is a divinity of enormous compassion and generosity who
spreads peace over the earth.
In certain cultures, she is also known as the Queen of
Heaven, who keeps the universe's masculine and feminine forces in balance.
