Neith, the mother of Ra, was born from the primordial waters of creation.
She is the protector of women and the ties that bind them
together in marriage.
She is in charge of battle, hunting, and weaving, as well as
the bandages and shrouds of the deceased.
Neith is shown as a lady with a bow and arrow or a weaving
shuttle in her hands.
