Ninti is a goddess of childbirth and healing.
Her name means "Lady of the Rib" or "Lady of
Life" in English.
She fashions children' bones from their mothers' ribs, which
were formerly regarded as the "bones of life" in ancient Sumer.
Ninti treats shattered bones and disorders affecting the
skeleton.
