Brigantia is a sun goddess who rules over light and fire, and is often mistaken with Brigid





  • She is the earth's essence, balancing all things and encouraging development and fertility in all things. 
  • Her emblems include wells, springs, and serpents, and chanting her name is said to heal even the most terrible illnesses and wounds. 
  • Beltane and Midsummer are Brigantia's festivals, when she fans the flames of creativity and inspiration among poets, painters, and musicians.
